Statement of Beliefs

1). The Triune Godhead / Holy Trinity / Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

There is one living and true God, everlasting, with infinite wisdom, power, and love. The creator, preserver, and sustainer of all things, both visible and invisible. The Triune-Godhead in unity is three persons of one substance, power, and endless time: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

1st John 5:7, Deuteronomy 6:4, Jerimiah 10:10, Psalm 90:2, John 4:24.

2). The Word / The Son of God / Christ Jesus

The Son, who is the Word of God the Father, being one substance with the Father, took human nature in the womb of the blessed Virgin; so that, two whole natures were joined together in one person Christ Jesus, who being both God and man, suffered, was crucified, died and was buried, all to reconcile His Father to us and to be a sacrifice, not only for original sin but also for actual sins of men and women.

1st Timothy 2:5, John 1:1, John 1:14, Hebrews 2:14, Luke 1:35.

3). The Resurrection of Christ Jesus

Christ Jesus did truly rise again from the dead, took again His body without imperfections, ascended into heaven, and there He sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until He shall return to judge every person, the quick and the dead, at the last day.

Matthew 28:7, Acts 13:37, Romans 14:9-10, 1st Corinthians 15:20. Luke 24: 6-7.

4). The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son, is of one substance, majesty, and glory, with the Father and the Son, the eternal God.  The Holy Spirit is a divine person distinct from the Father and the Son yet associated with the Father and the Son in the divine work of creating and preserving all things.

Genesis 1:2, Matthew 28:19, John 15:26, John 16:13, Romans 8:16, Hebrews 9:14, 2nd Peter 1:21.

5). The Holy Scriptures / The Holy Bible / The Old and New Testaments

The Holy Scriptures contain all things necessary to salvation. The words contained in the Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testaments are the inerrant and unchanging word of God and needs nothing added or taken away. The Holy Bible is the final settlement of all questions of faith and practice.

Psalm 19:7, John 5:39, 2nd Timothy 3:16, James 1:21, Revelation: 22:18-19.
